A Henderson man was injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle wreck in Union County.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame reports deputies and emergency personnel responded to the wreck around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of KY 56 W and KY 360. He says a Jim David’s Meat box truck driven by 39 year old James Sowders, of Henderson, was unable to stop at the stop sign and crossed KY 56 W and crashed into a tree.
Deputy Dame indicates Sowders was transported by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital Union County.
The Union County Volunteer Fire Department and Union County Ambulance assisted deputies at the scene of the accident.
