Madisonville woman charged with drug trafficking and possession

A trespassing complaint netted the arrest of a Madisonville woman for drug trafficking and possession charges.

Kentucky State Police report a trooper responded to the complaint around 12:40 p.m. Sunday about two (2) mile north of Madisonville. Upon arrival, they say the trooper found 41 year old Tammy M. Oakley, of Madisonville, on the property. Police indicate, Oakley was arrested after a series of field sobriety tests.

During a search of Oakley’s vehicle, police reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana and items used to ingest and distribute controlled substances.

Oakley was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center for third degree criminal trespassing, DUI under aggravating circumstances, trafficking in a controlled substance over two grams of meth, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and two other offenses.
