A Madisonville woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on State Route 112 (Ilsley Road) near the five (5) mile marker around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Kentucky State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that 24 year old Laura Clark was driving a car westbound on SR 112 when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve causing her to cross the eastbound lane, exit the road, and crash into a sign.
Police report Clark was transported by private vehicle to Baptist Health in Madisonville.
KSP were assisted at the scene by the St. Charles Fire Department and Med Center EMS.
