Three Webster County residents have been charged in connection to armed robberies at convenience stores in Corydon and Madisonville.

As WMSK News reported at Noon, the Henderson Police Department was questioning three suspects that matched a description of the individuals who committed an armed robbery in Madisonville Thursday night. After the interview, 40 year old Patrick Conley, 21 year old JT Higgins and 19 year old Jayme Driesbach, all of Sebree, were arrested.

The three are facing charges in connection to an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at the Kangaroo Gas Station on Main Street in Corydon as well as an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night at the Circle K Market on North Main Street in Madisonville. According to Henderson Police, about 1 ½ hours after the armed robbery in Madisonville Thursday night, an officer spotted the truck that matched the description given by one of the clerks and made a felony stop on the vehicle. As officers approached the vehicle, they reportedly observed a shot gun on the back seat of the truck, and then recovered two loaded shotguns along with money stolen from the Circle K robbery in Madisonville.

Conley was charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Higgins and Driesbach were each charged with Complicity to Robbery 1st Degree.

All three subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
