The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 Bridge Crew has established a work zone along KY 359 at mile point 6.157 in UNION County.
This work zone near the KY 359 intersection with KY 1179/Mason Creek Road is to allow structural repairs on the Little Mason Creek Bridge.
While most of the work on the bridge can be completed without lane restrictions, appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
As a reminder to truckers, the Little Mason Creek Bridge is restricted to a 10-ton load limit. Any trucks exceeding this 10-ton load limit will be issued citations.
This work zone is expected to be in place during daylight hours through Friday, September 23rd.
