Wind advisory in effect through Tuesday morning

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 25, 2024) – The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a wind advisory, now through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, that includes all of western Kentucky and could cause difficulties for larger vehicles traveling area roadways.

The advisory warns of 20 to 30 mph winds, with possible wind gusts of up to 50 mph that could down tree limbs and power lines. It also warns motorists to be sure to prepare for potential minor damage and travel difficulties due to high winds, especially for high profile and towing vehicles.
