Bank officials say they received a list from VISA of a merchant that was compromised that affected some of United Community Bank of West Kentucky cardholders.
UCB Senior Vice President and Marketing Officer Tammy Belt tells WMSK News that some of their customer card numbers were compromised.
Belt wants to remind customers a debit card is a great form of payment and convenient, but you need to have a backup option.
She also apologizes to UCB’s customers for the inconvenience.
