A traffic stop in Morganfield last night landed a Union County woman in jail facing multiple charges including possession of meth and other offenses.
Kentucky State Police reports the traffic stop occurred around 11:15 Tuesday night near the intersection of KY 130 North and North Townsend Streets where the driver, 44 year old Stephanie Lovell of Waverly, was taken into custody after an investigation.
According to KSP, Lovell was lodged in the Union County Detention Center for first degree possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs under aggravating circumstances, careless driving, failure to wear seat belts or produce an insurance card.
