A local woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Union County Monday night.
Kentucky State Police reports the accident occurred around 7:00 Monday night at KY 359 and KY 1180 when 28 year old Seth Garrett of Sturgis was driving south on KY 359 and his front tire broke off of the car causing him to lose control and cross the center line and hit a northbound SUV driven by 54 year old Cynthia Payne of Uniontown.
KSP indicates Payne was transported by Union County EMS to Methodist Hospital in Morganfield for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
