Local authorities say a complaint regarding the theft of prescription medication led to the arrest of two Union County residents.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame reports deputies responded to the complaint around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday and the investigation netted the arrest of 66 year old Johnny Brown and 34 year old Kasie Tingle, both of Uniontown.
According to Deputy Dame, Brown was charged for first degree possession of a controlled substance (opiates) and first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and Tingle was charged for violation of a Kentucky EPO and theft of a controlled substance under $10,000. Both subjects were lodged into the Union County Detention Center.
