Authorities say a Morganfield man listed on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry was charged over the weekend for first degree indecent exposure.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame tells WMSK News 72 year old Charles Joseph Shofner was taken into custody Saturday afternoon at his home after a joint investigation by the sheriff’s office and Morganfield Police Detective Chad Vos. Deputy Dame says Shofner was charged after he allegedly exposed himself in the doorway of his residence and then outside his residence.
Shofner remains lodged in the Union County Detention Center.
