Henderson County Sheriff officials say traffic is flowing again in both directions of US 60 West following a head-on two-vehicle collision during the morning commute. Authorities say two people were transported to area hospitals to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. Their conditions are not yet known.
No other details have yet been released. An earlier report stating that Kentucky State Police were reconstructing the accident scene has since been found to have been inaccurate according to Post-16 officials.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 9, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash at the Henderson/Union County line has shut down U.S. 60. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes until further notice. The duration of this crash is 4 hours. Kentucky State Police at Post-16 and a number of area first responders are working the accident scene.
Motorists are advised to use caution as black ice and other slick spots have been reported on roads throughout the area.
