The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime closures along a section of KY 1340 in WEBSTER County the week of April 1-5, 2019.
KY 1340 will be closed between milepont 2.1 and milepont 4.48 to replace several cross drains. These daytime closures are along KY 1340 between KY 874 and US 41-Alternate.
The roadway is expected to close at 7:00 a.m., CDT, each day. KY 1340 is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:30 p.m., each day.
Closures along KY 1340 will be at the following locations:
Monday, April 1 milepoint 3.19 just west of Dave Brown Road
Tuesday, April 2 milepoint 4.48 just west of US 41-Alternate
Wednesday, April 3 milepoint 3.45 just east of Dave Brown Road
Thursday, April 4 milepoint 2.4 just west of Jim Villines Rd/Bud Asher Mooney Rd
Friday, April 5 milepoint 2.1 just east of KY 874
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via KY 132.
This cross drain replacement project on KY 1340 is to prepare for a paving project planned for this summer.
