Police: Henderson man arrested on warrants found in possession of opiates

Authorities say a 24 year old Henderson man arrested on outstanding warrants over the weekend was also found in possession of drugs.

Henderson Police report William Kendall of Smith Avenue was taken into custody around 9:15 a.m. Saturday at his home on the warrants through the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and Theft by Deception – Including Cold Checks U/$500.

During a search following Kendall’s arrest, officers reportedly found numerous Ziploc baggies along with needles, spoons with residue/burn marks, and a white substance identified as morphine.

Kendall was booked into the Henderson County Detention Center on the two warrants and first degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Opiates) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
