An anonymous tip over the weekend led to the arrest of an Owensboro man wanted on multiple felony warrants out of two counties.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers, along with Owensboro Police Department officers, followed up on the tip that 25 year old Larry Nicholas Lawson was seeking shelter at a location in Owensboro. Authorities say Lawson was found in an attic and arrested on eight felony warrants out of Daviess and Ohio County that ranged from first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) to first degree fleeing and evading police in a motor vehicle and on foot to two counts of first degree bail jumping.

Lawson was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
