Motorists traveling the US 41 Twin Bridges need to be aware of lane restrictions planned for the next three or four nights beginning tonight (Monday).
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the lane restrictions on the US 41 Twin Bridges are expected between 7:00 tonight and 5:00 Tuesday morning to allow use of high-strength concrete repairs to the driving surface of both bridges.
The crew plans to start on the northbound bridge tonight, then move to the southbound bridge as work progresses. Todd says the lane configuration work may vary to facilitate the required work. The deck repair work on the US 41 Twin Bridges is expected to take 3 or 4 nights to complete, weather permitting.
Todd urges motorists to use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers and maintenance personnel are along the roadway close to traffic.
