MPD: Marion, KY woman charged for possessing meth

A Crittenden County woman was arrested in Morganfield Monday afternoon and charged for possessing drugs.

Morganfield Police Sergeant Geoffrey Deibler tells WMSK News they received a call around 3:15 that a male and female was at the Ideal Market to get gas and while the male was pumping gas the female produced a bad check.

According to Sgt. Deibler, the driver left the area in the vehicle and his mother was contacted and she paid for the gas.

When he arrived on the scene, Sgt. Deibler states 32 year old Reshenna Trail had locked herself in the bathroom at the convenient store. After he talked her into exiting the bathroom, he noticed she appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

During a search of the trash can in the bathroom, Sgt. Deibler  reportedly found three checks torn up belonging to someone else, along with several items of drug paraphernalia.

During a further search of Trail’s purse, he says they found twelve to thirteen syringes and some other drug paraphernalia.

When Trail was being lodged in the Union County Jail, Sgt. Deibler states more drug paraphernalia was found that she had hidden. She was charged for first degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
