MPD: Additional Charges Lodged Against Crittenden Co. Woman

A Crittenden County woman charged earlier this week for possessing drugs is facing additional offenses.

Morganfield Police Sergeant Geoffrey Deibler reports the additional charges against 32 year old Reshenna Trail of Marion, KY are trafficking methamphetamine and three counts of second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Trail was charged Monday night with possession of a controlled substance – meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trail was arrested Monday afternoon around 3:15 at the Ideal Market after Morganfield Police officers responded to a possible “drive off.” Sgt. Deibler told WMSK News on Tuesday that Trail had tried to pay for a gas at the Ideal Market by using another individual’s check and by the time he arrived on the scene she had locked herself in the outside restroom. When she finally exited the bathroom, he says Trail appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

When Sgt. Deibler went back in the bathroom he found torn up checks and drug paraphernalia in the trash can.

Police also found twelve to thirteen syringes and other drug paraphernalia in Trail’s purse. During a search at the jail, authorities found additional drug paraphernalia she had hidden.

Trail remains lodged in the Union County Detention Center.
