The Morganfield Fire Department wants to remind you that applications for retail sales permits for fireworks sales shall be filed with the Fire Chief at least 15 days in advance of the start of retail sales.
In addition, Chief Rick Millikan indicates the hours for the permitted sales to occur on or after June 1st are between the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and the hours of sales between 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday if no other common household consumer goods are sold through the vendor. He says no sales of any fireworks will occur after 10:00 p.m. on July 5th.
