Mary Ann Collins, age 63 of Morganfield, KY passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020. She was born August 19, 1957 to Charles and Nancy Miller. She was a gentle soul with a big heart. A proud lifelong member of the Church of Christ, she served the Lord honorably and faithfully her 63 years. Mary Ann was a wonderful musician and a very talented artist. She found her calling in life as a nurse caring for patients at nursing homes, but most importantly caring for kids at the Earl C. Clements Job Corps where she spent most of her career. The Lord put her where she was needed and nothing gave her more joy than helping those less fortunate. Not much on traveling, Mary Ann spent her time at football fields and gymnasiums watching her sons and grandkids play and have fun. As many can attest, her grandkids were her everything. She and Garry never turned down a chance to spend time with them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Miller who was so proud of her. She was the apple of his eye and her biggest fan. He instilled in her a love of family that made cousins her absolute favorite people to be around. Never fully getting over the loss of her dad, it’s a relief to know they are together again.

The service will be 1PM Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. The burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. The visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday and 11AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
