Jerry Kevin Wright, age 54 of Sturgis, KY passed away Monday 8/24/2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born February 7, 1966 in Sturgis, KY to Jerry Nicholas and Sharion Templeton Wright. He spent his life helping so many people. He loved horseback riding, woodworking, singing and dancing. He worked at Rayloc for 20 years then started coal mining and he finished working for the City of Sturgis.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Nicholas Wright; sister Cassandra Wright; grandson Riley Rhodes; and his grandparents William & Maggie Templeton and Jack & Cordia Wright

Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday 8/27/2020 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY.
Brother Stacey Foster will officiate.
Visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until service time Wednesday and 9 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
