GEORGETOWN, Ky. (AP) — A Georgetown man accused of killing a 15-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty.
Media outlets report that 27-year-old Michael K. Davidson is accused of shooting and killing 15-year-old Morgan Penn on Saturday. Davidson was charged with murder.
Police say Penn was at a sleepover at a Scott County mobile home when Davidson fired a gun at the house, killing the girl.
Investigators say Davidson did not intentionally shoot at the mobile home Penn was sleeping in, and that the girl was a victim of crossfire.
In addition to murder, Davidson has also been charged with parole and probation violations.
