A 26 year old Madisonville resident was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Memorial Day.
Madisonville Police report officers responded to the wreck around 3:40 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Island Ford Road and Lantaff Boulevard. According to the report, witnesses told police 54 year old Adam Freels, of Nortonville, was driving a pickup truck north on Island Ford Road and ran a red light at the intersection of Lantaff Boulevard and crashed into a sedan driven by 26 year old Ashton Wyatt, of Madisonville.
Police indicate Wyatt was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Baptist Health in Madisonville for treatment of injuries.
