Local teen charged for trafficking meth

A Morganfield teen has been charged for trafficking and possession of drugs.

Morganfield Police Officers Chance Whitfield and Eric McCallister tell WMSK News that 18 year old Kyle Nally and two other male subjects were stopped for suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of East Morton Street around 11:50 p.m. Monday. During the traffic stop, Officer McCallister was advised Nally was not a licensed driver.

After an investigation by Officers McCallister and Whitfield, along with Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Jamie Waller, officers say a search warrant was obtained and officers reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Nally was arrested and lodged in the Union County Detention Center for first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
