Bridge replacement scheduled for completion in 2 weeks
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (June 3, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 2 Office notifies the public of a road closure on KY 416 in Henderson County. The closure is necessary to allow the replacement of the existing bridge over Canoe Creek.
The closure will remain in place for two weeks while the current structure is replaced with an aluminum box culvert. A signed detour will be in place while this effort is underway.
KYTC ask motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The start and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
