An ongoing investigation into a burglary that occurred on June 26, 2016 has netted the arrest of a 20 year old Henderson man.
According to Henderson Police, detectives recovered forensic evidence from the scene when the burglary was reported, which linked back to Tarek Dennis of South Holloway Street. During an interview with police, they say more evidence of the crime was discovered. Police indicate a 9mm handgun stolen out of the residence was later recovered in Evansville, IN.
Dennis was taken into custody around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree burglary.
