Authorities say a report of a prowler in the area of Schuette Lane in Henderson led to the arrest of a 24 year old man for theft of a firearm.
While on the scene Wednesday, Kentucky State Police say a trooper received other prowler complaints from neighbors and a report of a firearm stolen from a vehicle. The KSP trooper, along with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and their K-9, were able to locate the suspect a short time later in possession of the stolen firearm.
Police report Travis Baird, of Henderson, was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition of a Firearm.
