A Henderson man police say was driving on the wrong side of a road was arrested for DUI and drug-related charges.
According to Henderson Police, an officer witnessed 35 year old Sedrick Hancock of Henderson on the wrong side of South Ingram Street and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, the officer found that Hancock was driving on a DUI suspended license. Hancock reportedly had slurred speech, was unsteady on his feet, and failed field sobriety tests.
During a search of the truck, police say they found numerous small bags of a green leafy substance along with a Yeti cup containing alcohol.
Hancock was taken into custody and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for his second DUI, his second driving on a suspended license – aggravated, possession of marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs and other offenses.
