A Henderson man wanted on a bench warrant was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with possessing meth.
A Henderson Police officer reportedly spotted 21 year old Matthew D. Householder walking on Powell Street around 1:15 p.m. Friday and knew he had an active Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear. Householder was taken into custody and during a search police say the officer found a plastic container holding a baggie of suspected meth, which was verified by the 21 year old man.
Householder was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
