HCSO: Robards man charged with burglary

An inmate at a local jail was served a warrant Tuesday charging him with first degree burglary.

Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says they served the warrant at the Henderson County Jail on 19 year old Jason S. Willingham, of Robards, where he was being held on unrelated charges.

According to authorities, the burglary charge stems from an on-going investigation by the sheriff’s office into a home burglary where on April 27, 2016 Jason Laughary’s reported someone had broken into his home at 9368 US41S in Robards and taken eight firearms. The report indicates four of the firearms were recovered on May 6, 2016.
