HCSO: Henderson woman charged for burglary, robbery, criminal abuse of her grandmother

A Henderson woman is facing multiple charges including burglary and robbery after authorities say she assaulted and stole money from her grandmother.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 3-thousand block of State Route 1299 around 7:40 p.m. Sunday for a welfare check of an 83 year old person after someone called and stated that the elderly person’s granddaughter was supposed to have demanded money from her. Upon arrival, deputies stated they learned that 23 year old Tiffany Bausinger had forced her way into the residence demanding money and then took items that did not belong to her. Authorities say Bausinger also assaulted her grandmother while entering the residence causing minor injuries.

Bausinger was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for second degree burglary, second degree robbery, second degree criminal abuse, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
