A fundraiser has been organized to help a Union County teen who needs a very expensive eye surgery in order to improve his vision and to give him a greater chance for a better quality of life.
Fraternal Order of Eagles President Steve Utley says the fundraiser event, a Quest for 1 Million Pennies, is for his grandson.
Without the surgery, his grandson faces a lot of limitations that some of us take for granted.
Utley tells WMSK News they will take whatever donations you can give over the next three months. He says they will have jugs for the fundraiser event in businesses and schools in Union County.
