Work scheduled for completion within 1- 2 days
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 9, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 2 Office notifies motorists of the application of a preventative asphalt overlay on KY 56 in Webster County. Overlays provide a smooth, solid surface to what was there originally, offering reduced noise levels and improved ride quality.
Sealing efforts will be addressed on KY 56 between U.S. 41 (mile point 5.370) and KY 283 (mile point 9.241).
The work will take place on Monday, April 12, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Motorists may wish to seek alternate routes during this time.
Paving operations will be addressed at a later date.
