Motorists traveling on KY 492 in Union County will want to make alternate travel plans on Monday as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of the roadway.
State transportation officials report KY 492 will be closed during daylight hours between KY 109 and J.D. Henry Road to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
The roadway is expected to close around 7:45 Monday morning and should reopen to traffic by about 3:30 Monday afternoon.
According to officials, there will not be a marked detour.
