Motorists traveling on KY 1257 in Union County need to be aware a section of the road will be closed Friday.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, KY 1257 will be closed between the intersection with Johns Road/Mount Olive Road and KY 109 in order to allow work to be finished where a number of cross drains have been replaced.
Officials say the roadway at this site will close around 7:00 Friday morning and is expected to reopen about 3:30 Friday afternoon.
Motorists need to be aware there will not be a marked detour.
