Authorities investigating armed robbery at Corydon convenience store

Authorities in Henderson County are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at a convenience store in Corydon.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the armed robbery around 8:30 that occurred at the Kangaroo Gas Station on Main Street where an employee reported a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask entered the store around 8:20 armed with a shotgun and held the employee at gunpoint while he stole cash from the register. The employee stated to authorities the male then fled the store on foot.

Deputies attempted to track the subject with a K-9 unit, but were unsuccessful.
