SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say a man and woman have died after being hit by a train in Pulaski County.
Media outlets report the incident happened Tuesday evening. Police say the two were crossing the track when they were struck by the train just after 7 p.m.
Pulaski County Coroner Clyde Strunk says the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Their identities have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
