A 50 year old Hopkins County woman was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle wreck on Isley Road.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office released the report late Tuesday morning that Jeanine Salmon of St. Charles was driving westbound on KY Highway 112, Isley Road, around 11:15 Monday morning when her front right tire apparently dropped off the right shoulder of the road causing her vehicle to overturn and come to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle. Police say Salmon was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and was partially ejected from the vehicle.
Salmon was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield and her body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
