3 Owensboro residents injured in two-vehicle wreck in Henderson County

Three Owensboro residents were injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle collision in Henderson County.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office released a report Thursday night that 43 year old Kyaw Aung was driving a SUV north on KY 2096 around 9:30 Wednesday night when Aung crashed into the rear of a car driven by 21 year old Sar Bai, who stated he slowed because a deer ran out in front of him. Authorities say the collision pushed Bai’s vehicle went into a ditch.
Bai and his passenger, 17 year old Twa Dar, reportedly had to be extricated from the car by Robards Fire & Rescue.
The sheriff’s department indicates all three subjects were transported to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital for treatment.
