Lifelong Resident Appointed as New County Judge-Executive of Webster Co.

Stephen R. Henry of Providence has been appointed by Governor Matt Bevin as the new Judge-Executive of Webster County.

A 1986 graduate of Webster County High School, Henry became the first 911 Coordinator for Webster County while working for Fiscal Court. In 1994, he began working in the coal mining industry, where he has been a manager for the past ten (10) years.

In addition, Henry has been a member of the Warrior Coal Mine Rescue Team and President of the New Hopewell Cemetery.

Henry said in a release he is grateful Governor Bevin has provided him the opportunity to serve his friends and neighbors in Webster County as their new Judge-Executive. Henry stated he will work diligently in the coming months to give back to the community in which he was raised and grew up.

Henry is a lifelong resident of Webster County. He is the only child of the late Howard and Helen Henry. He and his wife Tracy have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of two children – Andrew, a recent Murray State University graduate, and Ashley, a freshman at Brescia University.
