A Boil Water Order is in effect for a portion of Union County.
Union County Water District Superintendent Gary Sheffer tells WMSK News a fire hydrant blew out in Waverly and repairs are ongoing at this hour. He says most residents should have water by now, but if not you should have water in the next hour.
Sheffer says the Boil Water Order for the City of Waverly and surrounding areas is in effect until further notice.
