Henderson man charged for possessing meth, marijuana

Police say a suspicious vehicle call netted the arrest of a 30 year old Henderson man on felony drug charges.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies and Kentucky State Police responded to the 8-thousand block of Pruitt Agnew Road Sunday night around 8:00 in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked in a cemetery. When deputies arrived they found the vehicle occupied by 30 year old Jeremy Romain and 36 year old Ruth Allen, both of Henderson.

According to the sheriff’s office, Romain was arrested after a search of the vehicle and charged for possessing meth and marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, possessing drug paraphernalia and violation of a Kentucky EPO.

In addition, authorities say Romain was served two misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear and Allen was served with one misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.

Both subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
