A 28 year old Henderson man has been arrested for allegedly using Facebook to offer a 14 year old girl money in exchange for nude photos.
According to Henderson Police, the mother of the 14 year old girl had reported on January 1, 2016 her daughter had received Facebook messages from Bryan Butts offering to pay the girl if she would send him naked pictures. Police say Butts knew the Henderson juvenile prior to sending the message. An officer tried to speak with Butts, but police say he refused to give a statement.
Henderson Police served Butts with a warrant Monday morning around 1:30 for Use of Electronic Communication to Procure Minor to Engage in Sexual Activity, which is a Class D Felony. When searching Butts during the arrest, police say a baggie containing marijuana was found in the pocket of his jacket along with a rolled marijuana cigar above his ear.
Butts was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center and additionally charged with possessing marijuana.
