Webster County Senior Center Hosts Ribbon Cutting
The Webster County Senior Center will host a ribbon cutting and open house on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. The public is welcomed to visit and tour the new center.
The project was funded in part by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the Department for Local Government and the balance of the project was funded with coal severance monies.
Judge-Executive Steve Henry notes, “We are more than excited for the opening of the new Webster County Senior Citizen as an extraordinary resource for our county and its citizens. This will be a chance for our county to show appreciation for those residents who have spent their lives making Webster County the place it is today. The Senior Center is staffed with quality employees who truly care about our senior citizens and I cannot thank them and everyone involved in this process enough for ensuring that this project comes to fruition.”
