UPDATE: KY 109 in Webster County is OPEN near the 11mm with Water Over Road Signs Posted

KY 109 is OPEN near the 11 mile marker in Webster County. It reopened at this site at the east edge of the Wheatcroft community on Wednesday. Water Over Road signs continue to be posted along this section.

This section of KY 109 serves as a popular connections between the KY 56 Shawneetown Bridge, US 60 and US 41-Alternate.

Again, KY 109 is OPEN at the 11mm in Webster County.

Please note that while flood levels are dropping at some locations, there is still a substantial list of flooded highways. To the west in KYTC District 1 Paducah area there are still some significant flooding issues along major highways. Here is a partial list:

US 51 is CLOSED at the 0 to 1 mile marker at the Ballard-Carlisle County Line between Bardwell and Wicklliffe – -Expected to remain CLOSED until at least March 8th
US 60 is CLOSED with a SHORT DETOUR at the 11mm in Smithland for floodwal work –NO SEMI Trucks allowed
US 60 is EXPECTED to be restricted to ONE LANE Traffic due to flood waters at the KY 137/River Road Intersection near the 16mm in Livingston County on Thursday- Possible Closure Thursday night
The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is CLOSED Due to Floodwaters Over the Kentucky Landing until at least March 3rd
Dorena-Hickman Ferry is CLOSED due to floodwaters over the Kentucky Landing- likely to remain closed until at least March 6th
KY 131/Said Road is CLOSED with signs posted at the 0 to 2mm at the McCracken-Graves County Line- duration unknown
