UPD: Uniontown woman charged for possessing meth and other offenses

Police say a traffic stop landed a Uniontown woman behind bars for warrants out of Henderson, and drug possession charges.

Uniontown Police officers stopped a vehicle at 4th and Mill street around 7:30 p.m. Friday that led to the arrest of Megan E. Williams, of Uniontown, for two outstanding Bench warrants for failure to Appear and a Summons for Theft by Deception out of Henderson County was also served.

During a search of her vehicle after the arrest, police say she was also charged possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth), possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree (alprazolam), prescription/controlled Substances not in proper container, and drug paraphernalia possession. Williams was lodged in the Union County Jail.
