Uniontown woman facing multiple charges including drug possession, terroristic threatening

A disturbance call in Union County led to the arrest of a Uniontown woman on multiple charges.

Uniontown Police Chief Jeffery Hart tells WMSK News Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Steinhoff and Uniontown Police Officer Kenny Dalrymple were dispatched Sunday to Hilltop Road regarding a belligerent woman causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, he says authorities located 41 year old Pamela Brooks, whose address is Charleroi, PA, intoxicated in a public place. Chief Hart indicates Brooks was arrested and initially charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, possession of prescription controlled substance not in proper container and third degree terroristic threatening.

During transport to the jail, police say Brooks became unruly in the vehicle kicking on the windows, etc. and had to be pepper sprayed. After arriving at the jail, Chief Hart says she was charged with third degree assault of a corrections officer after she spit on a deputy jailer. He indicates an investigation revealed that Brooks had been operating a motor vehicle that was found in a ditch at the rear entrance to the City’s park. Brooks was additionally charged with DUI aggravated for being involved in an accident and fleeing the scene of an accident.

Brooks was lodged in the Union County Detention Center. The jail’s website lists Brooks’ address as Uniontown.
