UPDATE: Officials say that a Morganfield man who had been reported missing was found dead this weekend.
Union County Emergency Management Agency said Saturday via social media that the family of 76-year-old James “Jim” Nicholson of Morganfield had been found deceased along with his car. The family thanked everyone who helped with the search.

Union County Emergency Management Agency has issued a Golden Alert for a Morganfield senior with dementia.
Authorities are looking for 76-year-old James “Jim” Nicholson of Morganfield. He was reportedly last seen at his residence on Shiloh Road in Morganfield between 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
He was possibly wearing a brown Carhartt jacket and brown sock cap. He drives a silver 2016 Chevrolet Impala.
The front license plate says McCullys’ in orange writing. On the rear trunk, the outline of the state of Kentucky with the word McCully’s written inside of it. The license plate is 108ZRK.
