UCSO: Uniontown man charged for possessing meth

A Union County man is behind bars after he was arrested Friday morning for drug possession.

Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame tells WMSK News that 38 year old Billy J. Shockley of Uniontown was taken into custody around 5:00 a.m. Friday for possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Deputy Dame, he and Uniontown Police Chief Jeffery Hart arrested Shockley when they were searching for a prowler called in by a Uniontown resident.

Shockley was booked into the Union County Detention Center.
