UCSO: Three Local Men Arrested on Various Charges

Around 8:35 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, Union County Sheriff’s Deputies Kyle Dame and Jason Thomas went to 1850 Boxville Rd to serve two arrest warrants. Deputy Thomas tells WMSK News they quickly captured the two wanted subjects, 31 year old Kale Gernatt of Clay and 31 year old Joseph Parrish of Morganfield, as they were attempting to leave the residence with another man who lives there, 31 year old Michael Brown of Morganfield.

According to Deputy Thomas, they found Methamphetamine and a concealed deadly weapon in the vehicle. They also reportedly found a camper recently stolen from Henderson County which they suspected to be on the property. The Deputies then obtained a search warrant, and Trooper Shane Settles with KSP arrived to assist the Deputies.

Upon execution of the search warrant, Deputy Thomas says they then discovered more drug related items, firearms and a small indoor marijuana grow operation. They also believe many more marijuana plants are in the nearby woods based on other items found on the property, according to the report.
